2 businesses cited for giving alcohol to minors in Mt. Vernon | Business
MT. VERNON, IL (KFVS) - Two businesses were cited after an alcohol compliance check in Mt. Vernon on June 20.
According to the Mt. Vernon Police Department, an employee at Lone Star and an employee at Buffalo Wild Wings provided alcoholic beverages to an underage minor who was acting under the supervision of undercover officers.
Carrie Loeb, 35, at Lone Star and Amanda Whitten, 22, at Buffalo Wild Wings were cited for a city ordinance violation.
Several businesses were in compliance, properly checked identification and refused service. Those businesses were Agave, Applebees, Bluford Midway Mart, Chili's, The Crossing, El Rancherito's, The Hideout, Krieger's, 9th Street Grill, and Pro' Place.
These investigations were funded from a grant through the Mission Possible Coalition.
