Amvets fundraiser, Secret Garden Tour on Sat. | Community Spirit

MOUNT VERNON, IL (KFVS) - Events in Mt. Vernon on Saturday, June 16 are available.

Events include:

• AMVETS Fun Fund Raiser at AMVETS Post #4 parking lot, 102 S. 17th St., 4 p.m. Live music, games, food vendors, 50/50 drawing, door prizes, karate demonstration and much more! Event open to the public. Funds raised at this event will go to help the AMVETS Post continue its work in helping local veterans. For more information call (618) 244-1375.

• Secret Garden Tour at the Centralia Area Historical Museum, 240 S. Locust St., Centralia, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Self guided tour of some of the most beautiful, well manicured gardens in the area. Refreshments will be served along the tour. For more information call (618) 545-0657 or (888) 533-2600.
