Stars and Stripes event, library to host movie on Saturday | Community Spirit

MOUNT VERNON, IL (KFVS) - Two events on Saturday, July 21 include Stars and Stripes event and a Sci-Fi movie at the library.
Griffins Den will present Stars and Stripes at the Holiday Inn, 222. Potomac Blvd. General admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Cage-side is $30 in advance and $35 at the door. For more information, you can call 618-838-7466 or 618-838-3903.
The C.E. Brehm Memorial Library will host a Sci-Fi movie, the first in a triology. The library says licensing agreements prohibit the use of the name for promotion. The movie starts at 1 p.m. and kids must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, you can call 618-242-6322.
