Volunteerism conference, diabetes workshop in Mt. Vernon Nov. 1 | Community Spirit

MOUNT VERNON, IL (KFVS) - Events in Mt. Vernon on Thursday, November 1 are available.

Events include:

• Southern Illinois Volunteerism Conference at Mt. Vernon Holiday Inn, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Conference is for volunteer directors, volunteers, and those who work with volunteers. Admission is $30. For more information call (618) 731-4278.
• Diabetes Workshop at C.E. Brehm Memorial Library, 2 p.m. This class is offered by the Jefferson County Health Department and is a free, one time a week workshop for six weeks.
