RLC announces spring Community Ed classes in McLeansboro | Community Spirit
INA, IL (KFVS) - Rend Lake College Community and Corporate Education released information on upcoming spring classes to be held in McLeansboro.
Extreme Couponing will meet 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Mondays, Feb. 4 and 11 in McLeansboro at the Hamilton County Senior High School, Room 157. Instructor Kristen Brazelton will lead the class in learning how to save money by using coupons to the fullest amount, how to use store ads, and how to plan your money saving strategy. The registration fee is $15.
Kids in grades 5th and 6th grade can learn the basics of how to play both tackle and flag football. Instructor Mark Beitler will teach participants football terminology, blocking, passing, catching, and kicking. For 5th graders, class will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturdays, May 4–18 in McLeansboro at the Hamilton County Senior High School Football Field. For 6th graders, class will meet from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., Saturdays, May 4–18 in McLeansboro at the Hamilton County Senior High School Football Fields. The registration fee is $15.
Go From Walk to Run will meet 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 23 to May 9 in McLeansboro at the Hamilton County Senior High School Track Field. Exercise is a great way to get in shape and instructor Marcy Hood will teach participants how to work gradually to go from walking to running. The registration fee is $15.
Community Ed courses are designed to provide lifelong learning opportunities for professional development, personal challenge and leisure enjoyment for students of all ages.
