2 sentenced to prison in Jefferson Co. | Crime
JEFFERSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The Jefferson County State's Attorney Douglas R. Hoffman says two people have been sentenced to prison for various offenses.
Those two include:
Charles E. Webb, 23, of McLeansboro pleaded guilty to residential burglary, a class 1 felony, and was sentenced to serve five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, followed by two years of mandatory supervised release. On May 21, 2012 Webb entered a home in rural Jefferson County with the intent to commit a theft. He was later apprehended by local authorities. He was ordered to pay court costs upon his release. He was recently sentenced for a related offense in Hamilton County. Both sentences will run concurrent.
Brandon A Fitzpatrick, 23, of Centralia, pleaded guilty to one count of escape, a class 3 felony, and was sentenced to three years in prison, followed by one year of mandatory supervised release. Fitzpatrick was serving a work release sentence from a felony DUI offense. Pursuant to that sentence, he was ordered to serve weekends in the Jefferson County Jail. Fitzpatrick failed to report to jail on August 17, 2012 and was charged with escape. He was ordered to pay court costs upon his release from prison.
