2 charged with drug possession after Mt. Vernon police serve search warrants | Crime

MOUNT VERNON, IL (KFVS) - Two people in Mt. Vernon charged with drug possession after the Mt. Vernon Police Department High Risk Team serves search warrants.

Anthony Eovaldi was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug equipment.

Bethany Nollman was charged with possession of drug equipment.

On Monday, Feb. 25, the High Risk Team served narcotic-related search warrants at two homes in Mt. Vernon. The first warrant was served at 402 Herbert and resulted in crack cocaine, marijuana and currency being recovered. Officers say the resident was not at home and charges are pending.

Officers say the second warrant was served at 2 North Highland Place and resulted in heroin and drug equipment being recovered. As a result of the second search warrant, Eovaldi and Nollman were charged.
