Southern Ill. Criminal Justice Summit hosts hundreds of leaders | Events

MOUNT VERNON, IL (KFVS) - Around 290 leaders from criminal justice agencies throughout southern Illinois will meet for the Southern Illinois Criminal Justice Summit (SICJS) on February 27 and 28 at the Holiday Inn in Mount Vernon.
The purpose of SICJS is to engage in discussions about issues and to hear presentations from criminal justice leaders from Illinois and around the nation.
Participants will include chiefs of police, sheriffs, state's attorneys, federal law enforcement agencies, Illinois law enforcement agencies, social service agencies and county agencies.
Topics up for discussion include stress management, mental preparedness and understanding sovereign citizens.
