Tire company teams with Rend Lake College | News
INA, IL (KFVS) - A tire company is offering job interviews for students who meet certain qualifications.
The interviews through Continental Tire are only for students who qualify through Rend Lake College’s new course, Manufacturing Employment Skills.
“An opportunity like this doesn’t come along very often,” said Chris Nielsen, dean of the Applied Science and Technology Division at RLC. “If a student completes this course with a B, and they meet the employment requirements for Continental Tire, they will be given a job interview at CTA. It’s a great chance to join a terrific team. Continental’s the largest employer in our area and its commitment to this demonstrates their faith in RLC as a training partner. We are ready to deliver.”
Manufacturing Employment Skills, or MFG 1200, is slated to start Jan. 28 on the RLC main campus in Ina.
