Mount Vernon Police search for armed robbery suspect | News
MOUNT VERNON, IL (KFVS) - Police are searching for a suspect after an alleged armed robbery at a gas station in Mount Vernon, Ill.
According to the Mount Vernon Police Department, it happened at the Hucks Convenience Store on South 10th St. at 3 a.m.
Police say a black male used a handgun during the robbery, and then fled from the store on foot. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5'10" tall, wearing a red cap, a red hooded shirt, and a black coat, along with gray pants with lettering or writing on the legs.
