INA, IL (KFVS) - Rend Lake College has announced it will offer new truck driver training this fall.
Offered by the Community and Corporate Education Division, the Heavy Equipment Transportation coarse is a two-semester program that can be taken at the same time as the original four-week occupational certificate.
“It’s an opportunity for people to not only learn how to drive, but also learn how to do some basic maintenance,” said Lori Ragland, Dean of Community and Corporate Education.
Students must be over 21-years--old, be able to meet the Federal Department of Transportation physical requirement and have a valid driver’s license at the time of registration.
